The Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth, Alderman James Vos, will deliver the Keynote Address at Productivity SA's Western Cape Workplace Challenge (WPC) Milestone Workshop to be held in Durbanville, Western Cape on 29 August 2025.  Alderman James Vos will share insights on enterprise development and government support for SMMEs in the Western Cape.

The workshop which brings together various companies who have completed productivity improvement programmes is organised by Productivity SA, in partnership with the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic). Productivity SA is an entity of the Department of Employment and Labour.

This in-person workshop will celebrate milestones achieved by participating enterprises in the WPC Programme and provide a platform for sharing experiences, success stories, and opportunities for enterprise growth and competitiveness in Western Cape.
