The Unemployment Insurance At 63 of 2001 (UIA) The Unemployment Insurance Fund contributes to the alleviation of poverty in South Africa by providing short-term unemployment insurance to all workers who quafy for unemployment related benefits. The Fund is financed by a dedicated tax on the wage bill.
