The Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF), an entity of the Department of Employment and Labour, in partnership with the Mafube Local Municipality, will host a breakfast engagement session for employers and business leaders from various sectors in Frankfort, Free State.
The session forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration between government and businesses, while promoting compliance with labour legislation.
The programme will feature panel discussions focusing on key areas of concern across sectors, including UIF Compliance, the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA), Inspection and Enforcement Services (IES), Public Employment Services (PES), UIF Operations and the National Labour Migration Policy (NLMP).
This engagement is designed to create a platform for meaningful dialogue between the Department and the business community. It will further provide clarity on relevant labour legislation and foster collaborative solutions to enhance compliance and improve service delivery.
