UIF in Limpopo Province takes services to the people of Senwabarwana (Bochum)

The Department of Employment and Labour's entity, the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) in Limpopo Province, will be embarking on a “Taking Services to the People" campaign in Senwabarwana, also known as Bochum in the Blouberg Local Municipality of the Capricorn District Municipality.

The weeklong initiative will run from Monday 28 October to Friday, 01 November 2024. The campaign is aimed at bringing the departments' services closer to the communities of Senwabarwana who have to travel long distance to access the departmental services.

During this week, clients will be able to access the full basket of departmental services inclusive of the following:

  • UIF –  Applications / claims assessment / processing of payments and resolving enquiries
  • COID – Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases – Applications / claims assessment / enquiries / Employer Registration
  • IES – Inspection and Enforcement Services – attend to enquiries pertaining basic conditions of employment and labour relations (BCEA / LRA) matters
  • PES – Public Employment Services – Registration of work seekers on the ESSA database

Clients are encouraged to bring along ID document/passport, Compensation Fund Claim Number, completed UI.19 form & salary schedule, bank stamped UI.2.8 form, and CV for registration on Employment Services of South Africa (ESSA) database.
