As part of the initiative to enhance service delivery, the Department of Employment and Labour in Limpopo will take services to the people of Thohoyandou and surrounding villages.
“Departmental services are desperately needed in the community as a result of a large number of retrenchments due to COVID-19. The labour centers have seen a large number of clients, resulting in long queues and many people not being helped on the day.
This has often led to some clients having to queue outside the Department's offices overnight with the hope that they will be first in line the next day. This outreach campaign is meant to alleviate such issues and will also bring much-needed relief for clients who often have to take more than one taxi to access the Department's offices"; said Provincial Chief Inspector, Phaswane Tladi.
Clients are invited to an outreach campaign scheduled to take place as follows:
Date: 26 February 2022
Venue: All Blacks Sports ground, Manini
Time: 09H00-15H00
The following services will be rendered:
Clients are advised to bring along their IDs and those seeking employment can bring their CVs, not forgetting to adhere to COVID-19 regulations.
