The Department of Employment and Labour in the Free State wishes to notify the public that the Welkom Labour Centre will be temporarily closed on 5 and 12 December 2025 due to ongoing renovations.

Clients in and around Welkom are advised to access services at the Virginia Satellite Office, which will be open on Friday, 5 December 2025 and Friday, 12 December 2025, from 07:30 to 14:00.

Clients who are unable to travel are encouraged to make use of the department's online services available at www.labour.gov.za.

The Department apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the public's understanding and cooperation during this period.
