Companies that have improved their productivity and performed beyond expectations in South Africa are to receive the National Productivity Awards at the National Productivity Awards ceremony set to take place at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand on Friday morning 25th October 2024 from 9am – 13pm.
The awards ceremony follows a stringent adjudication process conducted by Productivity SA who shortlisted top performing companies in terms of their productivity levels. Productivity SA is a Department of Employment and Labour entity mandated by government to promote productivity and job creation in South Africa, The Minister of Employment and Labour, Ms Nomakhosazana Meth, will deliver the keynote address at the National Productivity Awards to be held as follows:

The acting chairperson of the Productivity SA Board, Dr Annaline Chetty, says the “awards aim to celebrate the trailblazers of productivity and applaud their unwavering commitment to efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement". The awards provide a platform to inspire a competitive and productive South Africa. Productivity improvement is considered the most effective way of ensuring ongoing competitiveness and economic growth.
