The Department of Employment and Labour's Public Employment Services (PES) Unit in Limpopo Province, will embark on community outreach sessions targeting work seekers in the Capricorn District Municipality. The sessions are aimed at empowering work seekers with information that will help them to choose careers wisely and seek employment accordingly.
As part of the departments' efforts to help reduce unemployment in the province, officials will be registering work seekers on the Employment Services of South Africa (ESSA) database for possible future employment. Attendees will also be provided with guidance on how to craft a winning curriculum vitae (CV), interview preparation and work ethics.
Career Counselor, Dimakatso Mafona said the department is on a mission to ensure that the lives of young people are transformed and improved by equipping them with necessary skills and information that will help them infiltrate the labour market with ease or become future entrepreneurs.
