Employment and Labour taking its services closer to the Community of Bushbuckridge- Mpumalanga

The Department of Employment and Labour is set to take a basket of services closer to the community of Bushbuckridge and surrounding areas from 8-11 January 2024.

The basket of services is a build-up of activities toward the Departmental Jobs Fair Imbizo scheduled to take place on 11 January 2024. The Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF), will render its basket of service offerings to clients around the areas of Bushbuckridge in Mpumalanga during its 'Taking Services to the People campaign'.

Community members will be afforded an opportunity to submit applications for unemployment, maternity, illness, reduced work time, adoption, parental and benefits in their own community. The Fund will also help clients access services such as checking their registration status, and declaration status whilst also registering employees in the province of Mpumalanga. 

During the campaign, UIF officials will also attend to enquiries, complaints, applications and processing of claims in the following areas:

Day 1: Monday, 08 January 2024 at Bushbuckridge Mall, Dwarsloop Mall & Mkhuhlu Plaza.

Day 2: Tuesday, 09 January 2024 at Saselani Primary Sports Ground, Acornhoek Mall & God with us church (Belfast).

Day 3: Wednesday, 10 January 2024 at Alfred Matshine High Sports Ground (Casteel) & Malwane Sports Ground (Hluvukani)

Day 4: Thursday, 11 January 2024 at Thulamahashe Stadium, Bushbuckridge (Jobs Fair and Imbizo)

Departmental entities such as the Compensation Fund (CF) and Public Employment Services (PES) will also be rendering services.
