The Department of Employment and Labour's Compensation Fund (CF) together with the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF), Rand Mutual Assurance (RMA), and Federated Employers Mutual Assurance (FEM), will be taking services closer to the community of Hartswater, Northern Cape Province.
This is the last Mall Activation/Community Outreach in Northern Cape for the 2023/2024 financial year. The Department continues to bring services closer to the community of Hartswater, these services include among others, the registration and processing of Compensation Fund and UIF applications, information on vocational Rehabilitation bursaries for COID beneficiaries and their dependents, payment of claims, and resolving inquiries pertaining to the occupational injuries and diseases.
The departments' inspectorate will also assist with labour-related matters while the Public Employment Services (PES) will be facilitating the registration of work seekers on the Employment Services of South Africa (ESSA) database for employment opportunities.
Clients are encouraged to bring along the CF claim number (the one received from the employment and Labour centre/ Compensation Fund) and Identity Document (ID). Employers are encouraged to bring their 99…reference number whilst work seekers are urged to bring along their CVs for registration on the ESSA database.
