Employment and Labour in Limpopo taking services to the people of Vhembe District

The Department of Employment and Labour in Limpopo is embarking on taking services to the people outreach in the Vhembe District. The campaign began today, 21 February 2023, at Nkuna Kraal in Giyani and will end on 24 February 2023 at Thavhani Mall in Thohoyandou.
The purpose of the initiative is to bring services closer to those who have to travel long distances to access departmental services.
The department will be offering services such as registering and approving UIF applications as well as assisting clients with applying via the u-Filling system to fasten the progress of their applications.
Clients are requested to bring along the following documents when coming to apply for UIF: ID or passport, a complete UI-19 form, a UI-2.8 form, and a salary schedule.
The Department’s Public Employment Services (PES), will be on-site to register work seekers on their database. “To help curb the high rate of unemployment in South Africa the Department uses a database called Employment Service of South Africa, where work-seekers are registered to be matched for possible work opportunities based on the requirements.
Clients are requested to bring along the following documents when coming to apply for UIF: ID or passport, a complete UI-19 form, a UI-2.8 form, and a salary schedule whereas work seekers must bring their curriculum vitae.
Clients are advised to attend the outreach service as per the following details:
22 February 2023: Makhado Crossing in Makhado
23 February 2023: Musina Mall in Musina
24 February 2023: Thavhani Mall in Thohoyandou.
