The Department of Employment and Labour extends a warm invitation to members of the media for an upcoming Stakeholder Engagement session in the Western Cape. This significant event will be led by Inspector General Aggy Moiloa.

The primary purpose of this session is to build and strengthen relations with valued stakeholders. Additionally, the aim is to increase awareness around labour laws and basic rights. Through open dialogue, active participation, and collaborative partnership, the Department seeks to gather conclusive inputs that will inform policy development.

Key Focus Areas:

Facilitating Decent Employment Creation: Ultimately, the efforts aim to create an environment where decent employment opportunities thrive.

Furthermore, to the ongoing awareness campaign, the department is committed to fostering consciousness around labour standards and fundamental rights in the workplace with an aim to safeguard vulnerable workers and cultivate robust labour relations.
