The Department of Employment and Labour's Compensation Fund will host compliance workshops for the Security and Road Transport sectors.
The purpose of these workshops is to engage stakeholders in these sectors on the importance of complying with the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA) and to enhance understanding of the claims process.
The workshops will provide participants with practical tools, education, and support to improve Return of Earnings (ROE) submissions, facilitate debt payments, and promote overall adherence to COIDA requirements. The workshops are also aimed at addressing challenges that might be contributing to low compliance levels currently observed within these sectors.
Help desk service will be available throughout the sessions to assist stakeholders with queries related to COID claims and compliance matters.
