Employment and Labour embark on work seekers registration drive – Limpopo Province

The Public Employment Service(PES) Unit will host a work seekers registration drive in Jane Furse and surrounding areas, the purpose of the drive is to educate work seekers on the services that PES offers.

As part of the initiative to reduce unemployment, officials will be registering work seekers on the Employment Services South Africa (ESSA) database with the possibility so that they can be matched for available job opportunities in future, as well as provide guidance on how to use and write a proper CV, interview skills and educate them on what hinders them from being shortlisted.

Work seekers will also be educated on the training provided by the Labour Activation Programme, which includes skills development, apprenticeship and learnership programmes.
The officials are on a mission to assist work seekers in the province to get employment, transform and improve the lives of young people and ensure that they leave no stone unturned.

The Drive is expected to take place as follows:
