The Fund will host the Medical Service Providers Lekgotla and Panel discussion on Saturday 28 September 2024 in KwaZulu-Natal province.

The main purpose of the sessions is to engage Medical Service Providers on the processes of Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases (COID) Act 10 of 2022 as amended.

During the Lekgotla session which will start in the morning, the Fund will make presentations on amongst others, Medical Services, Rehabilitation, Reintegration & Return to Work as well as on Query Resolution.

The panel discussion is intended to stimulate conversations and reflections on the CF Medical Services processes in relation to the Medical Service sector.

The panel will be constituted by experts in the medical fraternity such as Plastic Surgeon, Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Surgeon, Orthopaedic, Physiotherapist, Psychiatrist and others.

The discussions will be facilitated by the Department of Employment and Labour KZN Provincial COID Director: Dr Nandipa Kahla.
