The Department of Employment and Labour's Compensation Fund is to host farm employers and employees workshops on COIDA compliance in Witbank (Emalahleni) and Nelspruit (Mbombela), Mpumalanga province respectively.

The purpose of the workshops is to educate both farm employers and employees on their rights and responsibilities in relation to COIDA 10 of 2022 as amended.

These workshops aim to provide an opportunity for the Fund to engage intensively with both Farm employers and employees on amongst other issues, Employer registration, Claim process and employee Rehabilitation, Re-intergration and Return to Work.

Farm employees will also be able to check their claim status in case they have been submitted to the Fund by the employer.
