The Compensation Fund will meet with Medical Service Administrators during an Open Service Day Session and engage in a workshop with Medical Service Providers in Cape Town, Western Cape province.

The workshop seeks to ensure that Medical Service Providers are engaged and enlightened on the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases (COID) Act 10 of 2002 as amended.

The workshop will also address issues experienced by both the Fund and the Medical Service providers, amongst others, Rehabilitation, Re-Integration and Return-to- work programme, non-compliance on the submission of the required documents resulting in delays on the adjudication and payments of medical invoices, Billing and Coding as well as untreated COID clients by the Medical Service Providers.

Help desk service will be available to assist Medical Service Administrators with any COID claim enquiries.
