Minister, TW. Nxesi, will host employers and engage with aspirant workers at an Employer breakfast session and Jobs Fair event to be held from 24-25 January, in Botshabelo, Free State.

The Jobs Fair, an initiative championed by the Department’s Public Employment Services branch seeks to create opportunities for work seekers and provide a platform to interact with prospective employers.

The two-day events will commence with an Employer breakfast session, where Minister Nxesi will lead discussions on labour market issues, addressing unemployment in the province. Further deliberations will also be on the National Labour Migration Policy and proposed Employment Services Amendment Bill legislative instruments in order to address unemployment.

Through the use of innovative solutions, the department continues to make strides in addressing the crippling high unemployment rate.
