The Department of Employment and Labour in Limpopo continues to take services to the people of Vhembe District. The campaign which started last week will continue until 3 March 2023.
The Taking Services to the People campaign, which aims to bring services closer to communities is intended to curb traveling time and transport expenses incurred by clients who need access to services of the Department.
Today the Department is at Ndzelele Community Hall (Ndzelele), and will proceed to Madombidzha Community Hall (Makhado) on Wednesday; Malamulele Mall (Malamulele) on Thursday and pause at Sibasa Taxi Rank (Sibasa) on Friday.
Services on offer include registration and approval of UIF applications, assisting clients with applying via the u-Filling system, and registration of work seekers on the Employment Services of South Africa (ESSA) database for potential work placement.
Clients are requested to bring along the following documents when coming to apply for UIF: ID or passport, a complete UI-19 form, a UI-2.8 form, and a salary schedule whereas work seekers must bring their curriculum vitae.
Employers are also encouraged to attend the campaign to get information on UIF so they can comply with the Fund's legislations.
