The Department of Employment and Labour's Compensation Fund (CF) together with Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF), Rand Mutual Assurance (RMA) and Federated Employers Mutual Assurance (FEM), will be bringing a full basket of services to the community of Makwarela and surrounding areas in Thohoyandou, Limpopo Province.
The Mall Activation/Community outreach will be bringing services inclusive of registration and processing of Compensation Fund and UIF applications, payment of claims, and resolving enquiries pertaining the occupational injuries and diseases.
The departments' inspectorate will also be on the ground to assist with labour related matters while the Public Employment Services (PES) will be facilitating the registration of work seekers on the Employment Services of South Africa (ESSA) database for possible future employment.
Employers and Medical Service Providers in Makwarela and surrounding areas are also encouraged to visit the outreach to get information on the COID Amendment Act that was signed into Law by President Cyril Ramaphosa in April 2023.
Clients are encouraged to bring along CF claim number (the one received from Labour centre/ Department of Employment and Labour Compensation Fund) and identity document. Employers are encouraged to bring their 99…reference number, whilst work seekers are urged to bring along their CV's for registration on the ESSA database.
