The Department of Employment and Labour's Compensation Fund will host an Open Service Day for Medical Service Administrators and an Advocacy Session with Medical Service Providers (MSPs) in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape Province.
These sessions are intended to serve as a continuous platform for engagement between the Fund and MSPs on Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA) compliance.
Additionally, this platform provides an opportunity to deal with key administrative and operational challenges that Medical Service Administrators and Medical Service Providers frequently encounter when submitting medical claims, and to come up with amicable solutions that will improve COIDA understanding and compliance.
A helpdesk will be on-site to assist with any queries related to COIDA claims and compliance matters.
