Compensation Fund (CF), an entity of the Department of Employment and Labour will lead the #YAZINI campaign at Belfast, Machadodorp, Hendrina & Mhluzi in the Nkangala District, Mpumalanga from 12 – 14 February 2025.

The main objective for this campaign is to provide compensation for disablement caused by occupational injuries, diseases sustained or contracted by employees in the course of their employment, or for death resulting from such injuries or diseases as enshrined by the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Disease Act. However, other departmental entities such as the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) and Public Employment Services (PES) will also be rendering services.

Activities will be based on social benefits provided by the Fund which are:

ü   Medical aid

ü   Temporary total disablement (TTD)

ü   Permanent disablement (PD)

ü   Pension benefits

ü   Funeral benefits and

ü   Employer services (CF)

Medical service benefits such as Prosthesis and assistive devices and other departmental services.
