In striving towards improved service delivery in all areas of their mandate, the services that would be rendered on the day include assistance with UIF claims and enquiries; CF registration, processing and finalisation of claims in respect of Occupational Injuries and Diseases, and registration of work seekers on the Employment Services of South Africa (ESSA) database.

The Chief Director: Provincial Operations Mr Makapela in the North West, says these are service delivery efforts by the Department to accommodate people in areas that are far from the Labour Centres and Visiting Points.
“This is one of the ways we use to reach out to our vulnerable clients. Our targeted audience are communities that are far from service points, workers in general as well as employers” said Mr Makapela.
