24 January 2023

The Compensation Fund (CF), an entity of the Department of Employment and Labour will host a two-day COIDA compliance training for the organised labour in the North West Province.

The training is part of the CF’s ongoing efforts to engage, train and inform its various stakeholders nationally in both the public and private sectors on compliance with Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA) and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).

The Fund is governed by the Compensation for Occupation Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA) of 1993 (amended in 1997) which determines how, and by whom the fund is administered and the conditions for eligibility for compensation.
