The Brakpan Labour Centre in Gauteng province will close indefinitely from the 30th November after the current landlord leased out the current building to new tenants but the clients of Employment and Labour need not fear that they will be left unattended.
The provincial management has put together a contingency plan to ensure that service delivery is not affected and continues and to this extent, all neighboring offices have been adequately resourced to handle the influx of clients due to the closure of Brakpan office. This include deploying staff members from Brakpan office to neighboring offices from 26th November 2020 to assist with the influx of clients.
The Department is working hard to ensure that the Brakpan office is re-opened soon but in the meantime, clients are advised to visit the following Labour Centres for services until further notice:
Clients are encouraged to use the Department's online services found on www.labour.gov.za or contact gpcustomerservices@labour.gov.za.
