The Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) will be on the road to conduct a service delivery campaign in the areas of Danielskuil (Kgatelopele Local Municipality) and Postmasburg (Tsantsabane Local Municipality) ZF Mgcawu District, from 16–19 November 2020.

The main objective of this campaign is to alleviate pressure for UIF services experienced by the Postmasburg Labour Centre and its surrounding visiting points. The campaign will also deal with pending cases of unclaimed benefits for ex-mineworkers' applications done in the past financial year.

“The new normal brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic has hindered effective service delivery in some of our areas therefore we deemed it necessary to bring a complete suite of the sought after UIF services to our clients in Postmasburg and Danielskuil," sid Zolile Albanie, Chief Director: Provincial Operations.

The campaign will be conducted as follows:

Danielskuil

Date: 16 – 17 November 2020

Time: 09:00 – 16:00

Venue: Municipal Hall (Danielskuil)

Postmasburg

Date: 18 – 19 November 2020

Time: 09:00 – 16:00

Venue: Postmasburg Labour Centre

The follow-up visit will be done on the week of 23 – 26/11/2020 for purpose of exhibitions and to tackle any outstanding issues related to Covid-19 Temporary Employer/Employee Relief Scheme (TERS) and other UIF matters.

All Covid-19 protocols will be observed during the campaign therefore we urge all our clients to wear their face mask and protect themselves against the Coronavirus infection.
