The Department of Employment and Labour in Gauteng will host a virtual media briefing to share the successes of the Rapid Response Team (RRT) since the start of the first lockdown in March 2020.
The UIF will also release payment statistics of the Covid-19 TERS Relief Scheme and normal benefits. The Fund will also give an update on fraud cases, the "follow the money" project and details of the Covid-19 TERS extension.
