Legendary Skills outlet gets a facelift

 Labour Minister Membathisi Mdladlana will this morning (Fri) deliver a keynote address at the official opening of the newly-revamped Fundi Training Centre in Benoni, Ekurhuleni.

Formerly known as the Benoni Training Centre, the Fundi has over the years played a major role serving as an institute of excellence, providing trade and other high level skills to young people of mostly poor backgrounds.

Built in the heartland of metal industry in Benoni, the institution was founded by the late Steel and Engineering Industry Federation of South Africa (SEIFSA) stalwart Walter Kirkwood, and has produced countless male and female artisans. The media is invited.
