52. Accreditation of council or appointment of accredited agency
(1) With
a view to performing its dispute resolution functions in terms of
section 51(3), every council must –
(a) apply to
the governing body of the Commission for accreditation to perform those
functions; or
(b) appoint an
accredited agency to perform those of the functions referred to in
section 51(3) for which the council is not accredited.
(2) The council must advise the Commission in writing as soon as possible of the appointment of an accredited agency in terms of subsection (1)(b), and the terms of that appointment.
