Chapter 8 : Medical Aid
72. Conveyance of injured employee
(1) If
an employee meets with an accident which necessitates his conveyance to
a hospital or medical practitioner or from a hospital or medical
practitioner to his residence, his employer shall forthwith make the
necessary conveyance available.
(2) The
Director-General or the employer individually liable or mutual
association concerned, as the case may be, shall pay the reasonable
cost (as determined by the Director-General) incurred in respect of
that conveyance.
(3) Any employer who fails to comply with subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence.
