The Harrismith Labour Centre will temporarily operate on limited hours due to power supply interruption attributed to vandalism to the main substation. According to the Maluti a Phofung Local Municipality the damage is currently being assessed and no time frames have been provided on when the matter will be fixed.
The Department of Employment and Labour is concerned about the disruption of services which is beyond its powers but urges clients to use the Department’s online services found on www.labour.gov.za .
