Tables of the Survey of Activities of Young People in South Africa 1999
This report presents a selection of indicative findings from Stats
SA‘s first survey of activities of young people (SAYP), conducted in
June and early July 1999. The survey examined the activities of
children in South Africa aged between 5 and 17 years, at home and at
school, including income- earning and other activities, with special
emphasis on activities that could be classified as child labour.
