Department of Employment and Labour condemns fake employment notice
01 February 2021

The email currently doing the rounds claiming that the Department of Employment and Labour is calling for CVs of people with any Bachelor of Commerce qualification is fake.

Consequently, the department is urging all those who have received or seen this email or notice to disregard it as it is not authentic.

"There are people out there who take advantage of the fact there are many people who are unemployed and create false hopes using the name of the Department in particular and government in general. We appeal to all those who have seen this notice to disregard it as it is fake.

"The so-called Bongani Sithole to whom CVs are supposed to be forwarded to does not exist," said the Department’s head, Director-General Thobile Lamati.
