Employment Conditions Commission

This Commission was established in terms of section 59 (1) of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, 1997 (BCEA).

The functions of the Commission are to advise the Minister on:

Members

  1. Professor Evance Kalula: Chairperson - Government appointee
  2. Dr. Ingrid Woolard: Commissioner - Government appointee
  3. Professor Haroon Bhorat: Commissioner - Government appointee
  4. Mr Eric Nwedo: Commissioner representing Organised Business (alternate member)
  5. Mr Kaizer Moyane: Commissioner representing Organised Business
  6. Mr Bheki Ntshalintshali: Commissioner representing Organised Labour 
  7. Mr Mduduzi Mbongwe: Commissioner representing Organised Labour (alternate member)
