19 May 2017

The Soshanguve Labour Centre, situated at 2197 Block F Neat and Fast Building, has been offline since yesterday due to cable theft. This will have negative impact on the services that we provide.

At this stage it is not clear when the services will be restored but the Labour Centre is currently operational and minimal services such as the collection of the payment continuation forms, issuing of the application forms for first time applicants (unemployment, maternity and death benefits) will be provided. In addition, Inspectors will continue with their appointments with the employers in order to attend, among others, to complaints lodged by employees.

Clients are advised to go to our nearest Labour Centres such as Pretoria, Garankuwa and Temba Labour Centres for assistance in relation to other services.

The addresses of these Labour Centres are:

  • Pretoria Labour Centre is at Cnr Nana Sita and Thabo Sehume Street,
  • Garankuwa Labour Centre is at Zone 5 Setlalentoa Street and
  • Temba Labour Centre is at shop no:4 Jubilee Mall C/r Harry Gwala &jubilee road

We assure you that management of the Department is working towards resolving the matter and finding lasting solutions.-
