Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) door to door campaign targets Pixley ka Seme District to engage employers and encourage registration of employees with UIF.

The Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) will be conducting a door to door campaign in De Aar, Colesburg, Hopetown, Strydenburg, Petrusville, Van der Kloof, Prieska and Victoria Wes areas from 20 to 24 February 2017 to visit employers and assess the level of compliance with the Unemployment Insurance Act and Unemployment Insurance Contribution Act, as well as to promote on-line declaration through U-Filing.

The team of UIF employees will be criss-crossing these Pixley ka Seme areas to visit workplaces in efforts to assist employers on all aspects of registration and compliance and to assist in resolving UIF issues. The Exhibition and interaction opportunity will be available for the employees and public to be assisted with enquiries and information on UIF matters at the following venue:

Date: 20 - 24 February 2017

Venue: Town Hall (Opposite Municipality building) De Aar

Voortrekker Street

Time: 08:00 - 16:00

The interaction (information) session will be held with the employers and employees in Victoria Wes as follows:

Date: 21 February 2017

Venue: Kappertjie Hall

Victoria Wes

Time: 10:00

The Department of Labour therefore urges Employers and Employees to take full advantage of this service delivery intervention.
