Temporary change of operating days for Parys satellite office

by Lloyd Ramutloa last modified 2017-08-11 16:10

11 August 2017

The Department of Labour’s Satellite Office in Parys, Free State province, will be temporally closed on its normal working days, which are Mondays and Tuesdays on the 14th and 15th August 2017.  This is due to the training of the Departmental Client Service Officers (CSO) who are the “fist point of contact” for the Department of Labour clients.

This training is meant to capacitate and empower CSOs with skills and competencies which will ultimately benefit clients as it is envisaged to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of quality services.  Opening of this Satellite Office will then be rescheduled to 17th and 18th of August 2017, Thursday and Friday respectively to cater for those clients who would have been serviced on the normal operating days.

Community members and clients of the Department of Labour in particular, are advised to visit the Office on Thursday and Friday to avoid missing out on our service offerings.  Of critical importance to note is that these changes only affect the week of the 14th to the 18th of August 2017.  The Office will revert back to the usual working days after that week henceforth.

For further details, community members can call the Department of Labour on this number:  056 215 1812

Ends!
