Department’s inspectors turn spotlight on farming in Gauteng

A series of blitz inspections focusing on the Agricultural sector will take place in Gauteng starting today (Tuesday) ahead of the all important Imbizo by Labour Minister, Mildred Oliphant at Masakhane Township near Bronkhorspruit.

The inspections to be led by the Deputy Director General for Inspection and Enforcement Services, Thobile Lamati will focus on compliance by employers with Occupational Health and safety laws as well as Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
